Fruit and Vegetables

Our fruit and vegetables come from Country Fare in Bournemouth who support as many local growers as possible (over the summer we have had English cherries, strawberries from The New Forest, blueberries from Wimborne, local salad and potatoes). We are happy to take orders for fruit and vegetables for collection at a time that is convenient to you. Please pop in and see us to discuss ordering.

We stock a range of meat in the pre packed display counter.

Our Cheese, Yogurts and Cream all come from Longmans Cheese in Yeovil. We stock local cheeses including Sturminster Newton Blue Vinny, Longmans own Cheddar in Mild, Mature, Extra Mature, XXX and Smokacre. We also stock Cambozola, Camembert, Edam, Somerset Brie, Dorset Red and many others.

We stock a large range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.

Cawston Press range of drinks are a favourite with the locals. All apple based, these juices are refreshing on a warm day but can be warming on a cold day (The Ginger and Apple juice is delicious warmed up). We stock a wide range of the Belvoir cordials, again some refreshing for the summer and some warming for the winter.

We have a range of local Hall and Woodhouse Badger Beers and beer from the local Cerne Abbas Brewery. You will also find a large range of wine, liqueur, mead and cider from local Lyme Bay Winery. We also stock well-known Langham Estate Wine, which is produced at Bingham’s Melcombe Estate. This sparkling wine is perfect for a special occasion or as a gift from the local area.

Our Milk comes from Craigs Farm Dairy in Osmington near Weymouth and is delivered to us at least 3 times a week so we can always offer the freshest produce.

Jams, Sweets and Savouries

We have a wide range of biscuits, both sweet and savoury. We have a selection of flavoured sweet biscuits from Moores Biscuits in Bridport.

We have a variety of chutneys, jams and marmalades from Highfield Preserves in Devon and a new supplier for 2016 is a very local company called ‘From Dorset with Love’ who make fab handmade jams and chutneys in Milton Abbas, just a few miles down the road!

Chutneys and Jams

Every morning fresh bread, baguettes and croissants are baked in our on site oven. We also have sliced bread delivered at least twice a week so we can always guarantee you a fresh loaf.
